Public Meeting

The overall goal of the plan is to reduce elk’s reliance on feedgrounds while increasing opportunities for elk to winter away from feedgrounds in an effort to decrease disease transmission amongst the elk.

Currently, the Albany County Commissioners hold public meetings on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 9:30 a.m.

Laramie residents will have the chance to chime in on a future Wyoming Department of Transportation project that will replace another bridge in Laramie.

Kari Eakins, WDE communications director, said ESSA, the replacement for No Child Left Behind, puts decisions about education closer to home, which is why it is important for the WDE to gather input from the public.
