Albany County issued a Code Red alert, sent emails and called Verizon customers to let them know about the outage.

In addition to the three Laramie firefighters, three Laramie police officers responded along with one Cowboy Aviation employee and one Albany County Central volunteer arrived in a personal vehicle.

“It’s a good reminder to all of us that we should have emergency supplies ready in the event of an outage any time of year,” says Oler.
