The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) released a draft Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for the National Elk Refuge in Teton County.
Biologists say forage conditions at the National Elk Refuge have slipped to the point that they have to begin supplemental feeding of elk and bison this winter.
While there are areas that are closed, opportunity to access public lands still exists including all state of Wyoming owned lands, which remain open and available to the public.
