University of Wyoming wrestling coach Mark Branch talked with David Settle and Steve Kiggins on Sportsline Live Tuesday about the recently finished season as well as Wyoming's performance at the NCAA Championships.
Wyoming junior Shane Onufer went 1-1 on Saturday to claim fifth place overall in the 165-pound weight class during the third and final day of the 2011 NCAA Championships at the Wells Fargo Center, while junior Joe LeBlanc was forced to forfeit his final two matches to finish sixth in the nation at 184 pounds after missing weight.
Junior Joe LeBlanc became Wyoming’s third three-time All-American with a 4-0 record on Friday at the 2011 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center and junior Shane Onufer earned his first All-America accolade by going 2-1.
