The Wyoming Lottery is hoping to be able to start selling tickets this summer, this according to the new CEO of the Wyoming Lottery Corporation, Jon Clontz.
Lottery officials say winning ticket tickets have been sold in California and Georgia for the $636 million Mega Millions jackpot, the second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.
The board overseeing the creation of a state lottery in Wyoming has settled on a chief operating officer but is waiting for a background check and employment contract negotiations before making an announcement.
