LHS Indoor Track

The Laramie High School indoor track team had a successful season debut last Friday in Gillette.

After being a runner-up the last two years, the Laramie High School girls’ indoor track team finally got to the top spot on the podium.

The top 2 in each individual event at the state meet, as well as the winning relay team get All-State Honors from the Wyoming Coaches Association.

Gillette hosts the last indoor meet of the season, and then 2 weeks later, the outdoor track and field season will begin.

The Wyoming State Indoor Track Championships are Friday and Saturday in Gillette at the Campbell County Recreation Center.

It was a tough weekend for the Laramie Plainsmen at the Wyoming State Wrestling Championships in Casper last weekend.

Indoor Track and Field meets this week are scheduled to take place at Gillette, Casper and Laramie.

The high school Nordic skiing season is hitting its stretch run, and Laramie High School could possibly have another state champion in line.
