Lawmakers have drafted five bills.

Most bars and sit-down restaurant dining establishments in Wyoming have been closed since March.

Legislators prepared the bills for a final vote at their next meeting May 1.

Others are looking for alternatives in funding special education.

Multiple projects are now moving ahead without funding and others are expected to be halted.

The bill, which is sponsored by Sen. Bo Biteman (R-Sheridan County), was assigned to the Senate Labor Committee.

Wyoming has invested roughly $120 million in the system to date and upkeep costs $5.5 million annually.

Burlingame anticipates wide, bipartisan support for the measure.
