The defending 4A state champions will be favored again this season.

Following a special season a year ago, the Laramie Lady Plainsmen volleyball team begins its journey to try to repeat as state champions.

A pair of three-set sweeps gave the Laramie High School volleyball team the 4A East Regional title on Saturday in Casper.

The Laramie Lady Plainsmen volleyball team stayed undefeated on Tuesday with a sweep of Cheyenne South in conference quadrant play.

Led by two returning all-state players, the Laramie Lady Plainsmen volleyball team will look to build upon an up-and-down 2019 season.

The Plainsmen had just 2 seniors on this year's squad.
