Flood Watch over Cheyenne until after 5 p.m. today.

The entrance to the Buttes subdivision south of Laramie is closed due to flooding, the Albany County Sheriff's Department said.

Flash flood season will be here soon.

That lakeside campsite had become TOO lakeside.

The watch takes effect Thursday afternoon and includes the communities of Cheyenne, Laramie, Torrington, Wheatland, Douglas and Casper.

Both communities have an 80 percent chance of precipitation today with heavy rain possible.

Folks need to be on the lookout for flooded roads, streams and other low lying areas the next few days.
