The Christmas season will officially be underway this weekend in downtown Laramie. On Friday, December 7th there will be a tree lighting and parade to welcome Santa Claus to Laramie. The festivities will go from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Kids of all ages are invited to put on a costume and head to downtown Laramie for tricks or treats during Scaramie on Saturday, October 27th from 10 a.m. to noon. Over 3,000 people celebrated Halloween with Scaramie last year according to the Laramie Main Street Alliance and they’re hoping for another good turnout.
The first farmer's market of the summer happily shut down Grand Avenue in the late afternoon on Friday.
