Wyoming is a great place to live, especially if you're rich. A new study ranked Wyoming the fifth best state in the country for multi-millionaires and billionaires.

How much money does it take to rank among the richest 1% in the Cowboy State? The answer is $1.9 million per year, according to Business Insider, over 31 times the average annual salary of $60,922 for the bottom 99% of Wyoming residents.

The richest 1% of Wyoming citizens account for 24% of the state's economy, trailing only New York (31%), Florida (28.5%), Connecticut (27.3%), and Nevada (24.8%). Alaska has the lowest income disparity in the country, with the richest 1% accounting for 11.3% of the state's economy, followed by Hawaii (12.2%), Iowa (12.9%), West Virginia (13.4%), and Maine (13.5%).

Around the region, Nebraska has the lowest rate of income disparity with the richest 1% accounting for 14.1% of the state's wealth. In Idaho, the richest 1% account for 14.9% of the economy. In Montana, 16.1% of the wealth is owned by the richest 1%. In Utah, they megarich earn 16.6% of all income. In South Dakota, the richest 1% make 16.8% of the money. And, in Colorado, the richest 1% have 17.2% of the wealth.
