Lady Plainsmen Celebrate State Championship [AUDIO]

The 2012 State Champion Laramie Lady Plainsmen Basketball team gathered together one last time on Tuesday night for their team banquet. There were awards, goodbye tears and lasagna made by Head Coach Rod Tyson himself as the first state title in Lady Plainsmen history was remembered.

Team MVP awards went to the '3 amigos' Kyleigh Hiser, Ali Beckler and Ragen Wilson, who all also earned All-State honors for their efforts during the season. All five starters, including Katie Kuhn and Madison Legerski were given the Sharp Shooter award. Legerski earned All-Conference honors with Hiser, Beckler and Wilson while Hiser and Kuhn were named to the Casper Star-Tribune State All-Tourney Team.
