This warning is for Northwestern Kimball County in the Panhandle of Nebraska, Western Banner County in the Panhandle of Nebraska, Southeastern Goshen County in southeastern Wyoming and Northeastern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming. The threats associated with this warning are a radar indicated tornado and pea sized hail. There are 2,540 people in the warning along with 4 schools and 0 hospitals.:

UPDATE:The National Weather Service has extended the tornado warning for Laramie until 5 p.m..

Meanwhile, the agency has posted the following warning in effect until 5 p.m. for Laramie County:

This graphic displays a tornado warning plotted on a map. The warning is in effect until 5:00 PM MDT. The warning includes Laramie County, WY.  This warning is for Central Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming and This does NOT include the city of Cheyenne.. The threats associated with this warning are a radar indicated tornado and half dollar sized hail. There are 1,258 person in the warning along with 0 schools and 0 hospitals.

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued tornado warnings for Cheyenne and Laramie. The emergency sirens warning people to seek cover were also activated in Cheyenne shortly after 4 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm warnings have also been issued for both communities.
