Study Ranks Wyoming 10th Most Dangerous State For Motorists
A study by Forbes Advisor says Wyoming is the 10th riskiest state to drive in.
The same study found that Wyoming had the second-highest highest number of people per capita killed in fatal crashes.
Study Findings For Wyoming
Here is what the survey said about the dangers of driving in Wyoming:
Wyoming has the second highest number of people killed in fatal crashes (21.92 per 100,000 residents) and the third highest number of DUI arrests (1,045.69 per 100,000 licensed drivers).
Wyoming also has the fifth highest number of both total fatal car accidents (50.71 per 100,000 licensed drivers) and drunk drivers involved in fatal crashes (15.4 per 100,000 licensed drivers).
Additionally, the state has the 10th lowest Hpercentage of bridge area in good condition (25.6%).
The study rated Mississippi the most dangerous state to drive in, and New Hampshirre as the safest.

The survey looked at 13 metrics related to driving safety, ranging from crash fatalities per 100,000 people to DUI arrests to the condition of bridges, among several others.
