The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says southeast Wyoming could get some hail and heavy rain on Friday.

Overall, a wet weekend is expected.

The agency posted the following on it's website: "As a cold front approaches from the west, a wet and stormy day can be expected across most of the area. Some lingering showers this morning will gradually transition to scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. Thunderstorms will eventually switch over to more stratiform-like precipitation during the evening hours. Numerous storms across the area means that most locations will likely see precipitation before midnight tonight."
