FORT COLLINS, Colo., -- There was a "Great Blizzard" in 1899. Even parts of south Florida were impacted.

Aspirin was invented that years, too.

Henry Ford started his own automobile company and William McKinley was the president of the United States.

That's also the first time Wyoming and Colorado State met on a football field.

Tonight, it's time for No. 116.

The Rams enter this one on a four-game winning streak. The Cowboys could put a serious dent in CSU's conference title hopes with a victory inside Canvas Stadium. The visitors can also claim the Bronze Boot, the coveted traveling trophy awarded to the winner, for the fourth consecutive year.

PREGAME:

* Wyoming tight end John Michael Gyllenborg is out tonight (collarbone), per UW.

* Running back Sam Scott is available tonight vs. CSU. Good news for the visitors.

* The Cowboys are wearing blue and red "One Wyoming" hoodies during warmups. For the first time since the Dave Christensen era, they are always wearing all white head to toe. It looks sharp.

* CSU is going with its traditional uniforms: Green helmet and jersey, gold pants.

* Jay Norvell hasn't beaten Wyoming in two tries as the head coach at CSU. He was getting the home crowd fired up in the tunnel before the Rams ran out.

* On the flip side, Jay Sawvel and the Cowboys had to run through a majority of the CSU roster as they entered Canvas Stadium.

FIRST QUARTER:

* Justin Marshall rips off a big gainer on the second play from scrimmage. Not a good start for this run defense. That was a gain of 38

* That was a clinic. Avery Morrow coasts in from 11 yards out to give the Rams and early lead here in Fort Collins. That was a 6-play, 75-yard drive. CSU 7 Wyoming 0 11:39/ 1Q

* Wyoming's front again getting pushed around on that first drive. Absolutely nothing fancy from CSU. Ground and pound.

* Evan Svoboda is in at tight end. Heard that would be the case. Here it is. Was told he actually asked coaches to make this move. Anything to help the team win. Let's see what the big man can do. Way too talented to rot away on the bench.

* Great first-down-saving tackle by CSU DB Dom Jones on that catch and run by TK King. To make matters worse, Jack Culbreath drops the snap on the punt. That boot was good enough for 14 yards. Horrible start for the visitors

* Rams miss a 43-yard field goal. Pokes will take over at the 26. Big stop for this defense. CSU 7 Wyoming 0 6:57/ 1Q

* Barnett hit with a hold, erasing a big first-down run by Waylee. TK King takes it 16 on the next snap. Those two guys are so electric.

* CSU with a beautiful misdirection right there. Keany Parks saves the touchdown. That little trickery gains the home team 46.

* Pokes' D getting absolutely worked. 153 rushing yards already for the Rams. CSU is in the red zone again.

* More trickery from the Rams. Fowler-Nicolosi with the touchdown grab from six yards out. Cowboys' defense has no idea where the ball is. This has been ugly. Dane Olson credited with the toss. CSU 14 Wyoming 0 0:28/ 1Q

* Rams go 83 yards in five plays on that scoring drive. Yikes.

SECOND QUARTER:

* John Hoyland gets the Pokes on the board with a 49-yard field goal. Needed that one. CSU 14 Wyoming 3 12:15/ 2Q

* Wyoming can't get off the field on a 3rd-and-8, Tyrecus Davis misses a tackle. CSU now at the UW 41. Can't happen

* 227 yards of total offense, so far, for the Rams. 167 of those have come on the ground. CSU is at the Pokes' 29.

* Pokes with a nice goal-line stand right there. Rams with three tries from inside the 5. CSU tacks on a 21-yard field goal. CSU 17 Wyoming 3 5:39/ 2Q

* Wow. Pokes turn it over on downs at their own 44. Really questionable play calls on back-to-back plays. A delay to Sam Scott (aka allowing penetration) and a long throw from the far hash to a well-covered Stevenson.

* Wyoming with three stops inside the 5 again. Will CSU go for the kill shot here on 4th and goal from the 1? I would. CSU 17 Wyoming 3 0:27/ 2Q

* *FUMBLE* Boy, did the Pokes dodge a bullet right there. CSU had nothing but six on that play call and Tommy Maher coughed up the handoff. That could be a huge turning point in this one. We're at the half. CSU 17 Wyoming 3

* Wide receiver Tommy Maher with the fumble. He could've walked into the end zone on that fourth-down snap. DeVonne Harris credited with the recovery. Man, that could loom large.

* No word on Harrison Waylee. Don't believe he is hurt. The senior has three carries for 5 yds. Need him badly in the second half.

THIRD QUARTER:

* Nice hook up right there from Anderson to Sargent. That's good for 25.

* Morrow busts a huge run right there against a 3-man front. That's good for 32

* Fowler-Nicolosi with a perfect touchdown toss to a wide-open -- guess who -- Tommy Maher. Bad to worse for this Wyoming defense. That was a 53-yard strike. CSU 24 Wyoming 3 11:45/ 2Q

* Jamari Ferrell breaks loose. That was good for 62 yards.

* *TOUCHDOWN* Kaden Anderson around the edge to finally get the visitors into the end zone. Farrell with the big run on that drive. 6 plays, 66 yards, 2:56 CSU 24 Wyoming 10 8:42/ 3Q

* Pokes force their first 3-and-out of the night. Right on the heels of a touchdown, too.

* Pokes D with a big stop right there on 3rd-and-1. That's the second straight 3-and-out. Need to make hay.

* Really nice throw right there from Anderson to Sargent. That's good for 14

* Running up the gut on 3rd and 6 near midfield? Sam Scott picks up a yards. WTF was that?

* Three straight 3-and-outs for the Pokes. Tyrecus Davis with a huge hit on 3rd

FOURTH QUARTER:

* Here comes the third straight punt for the Pokes. TK King gets hit with a "taunting" penalty. Not sure why he is taunting?

* Norvell tired calling a timeout right before that 57-yard field-goal attempt sailed right. Pokes will take over at the 39 with 11:08 to go

* Wyoming with 5 punts and a touchdown this half. Four punts in a row since finally finding the end zone
