The Friends of the Library will be hosting their semi annual Book Sale at the Albany County Library from October 15-October 22, 2016. In addition to books, the sale will also include CDs, video games, DVDs, vinyl records, and more. The hours are as follows:

October 15: 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

October 16: Library closed

October 17: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

October 18: 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

October 19: 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

October 20: 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

October 21: 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

October 22: 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The last two days of the sale, October 21 and 22, will be Half Price Day and Bag Day, respectively. The Albany County Public Library is also currently hosting a silent art auction. Bids may be placed until closing time on the 22.

Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to the Albany County Public Library. All proceeds from this sale will help cover purchases for the library that are not covered in the library's budget. Memberships to the Friends of the Library cost $10 per individual or $15 per household annually and may be purchased at the library circulation desk or at the sale.

The Albany County Public Library is open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information, please call 307-721-2580 or visit the Albany County Public Library website.
