LARAMIE -- It's not odd these days to hear Josh Allen's name mentioned among the top quarterbacks in the league.

He's in the discussion with Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes.

Soon, he'll be in the tee box with those three, too.

The former Wyoming gunslinger will take part in "The Match," a charity golf tournament that will take place June 1 at the Wynn in Las Vegas. The event will start at 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time and will be televised by TNT.

Allen, the fifth year signal caller for the Buffalo Bills, will team up with Mahomes to face off against the elder statesmen, Brady and Rodgers.

This is the first edition of The Match that doesn't involve professional golfers. The inaugural meeting back in 2018 featured one-on-one match between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Peyton Manning, Steph Curry and Charles Barkley have also joined in the fun since its inception.

Mahomes, you might recall, led Kansas City on a 13-second drive to tie Allen's Bills at the end of regulation in the AFC Divisional playoff game. The Chiefs ultimately pulled off the 42-36 victory on their first possession of overtime.

Buffalo never touched the ball in the extra frame.

That game is widely considered the greatest shootout in postseason history.

Since The Match lineup was announced, these guys have been having some fun with each other on Twitter. Check it out:
