I was born and raised in Laramie Wyoming and began my college career at the University of Sioux Falls and furthered my education at the University of Wyoming.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time outdoors doing anything from camping to hiking. I also enjoy listening to and exploring new and unique music.

I have a passion for media and believe it can be used to educate as well as expand personal knowledge. I hope to provide listeners with relevant news from around Laramie and around the State.

Governor Mead On Implications of Hydraulic Fracking In Wyoming [Audio]

The Environmental Protection Agency’s draft study on Pavillion wells is scientifically questionable and more testing is needed, according to Governor Matt Mead. For several years now residents near Pavillion have complained about their water wells. Due to the number of complaints the state of Wyoming formed a working group to investigate the problem.

Governor Mead Asks Full Court to Review Roadless Rule Decision [Audio]

The Governor himself directed the State of Wyoming to petition for a rehearing of the decision that upheld the Roadless Rule. Governor Mead would like the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals to consider Wyoming’s arguments en banc.

Horse Racing In Wyoming Seeing A Revival

Wyoming Downs in Evanston is now adding to the possibility of a horse racing revival is the state. Ownership of the complex has been handed over to real estate broker Eric Nelson who plans to resume live races in 2013.

Wreath To Be Placed At State Capitol To Honor Veterans

A ceremony will be held at 1pm today at the state capitol to honor veterans. As part of the nationwide Wreathes Across America Program, a wreath will be placed in the rotunda of the capitol building.

35 Indicted in Fremont County Drug Ring

On Saturday, December 3rd Fremont County officials had arrested 22 people on drug charges. That number has now grown to 35 after a rare grand jury investigation. According to the Fremont County Attorney's Office the grand jury was the first to be empaneled in the county in more than 20 years.

Cheyenne Student Died From Exposure

The latest news coming out of Cheyenne in regards to the student found on the grounds of Cheyenne East High School shows that the 18 year old girl died from exposure following a traffic accident.

University of Wyoming Holds Annual Gala Concerts
