After a week off, both University of Wyoming basketball teams take on Fresno State in Mountain West play tonight.

The Wyoming Cowboys host Fresno State at 7:35 p.m. in the Arena Auditorium. The Wyoming Cowgirls are in California to face Fresno State with an 8 p.m. start.

Wyoming Cowboys

Wyoming (21-6, 10-4) has received good news just prior to the game against the Bulldogs. Senior forward Larry Nance Jr. is expected to play tonight. It will mark his first game since February 4. The Pokes went 2-2 in his absence.

Nance is averaging 16.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. He worked out last Thursday and Saturday and practiced with the team Monday and Tuesday.

Fresno State (12-15, 7-7) enters off a pair of losses to Utah State and Colorado State.

The Cowboys won the first meeting this season in triple overtime, 70-65, on January 17.

Tonight's game also marks the 500th game for the Pokes in the 'AA.' Their record in the building is 372-127 all-time.

Wyoming Cowgirls

The Wyoming Cowgirls (13-11, 8-6) are looking to continue their recent good stretch. They will try for their fifth straight win tonight with this game on the road at the Save Mart Center in Fresno.

UW has won six of their last seven, but still sits in sixth place in the Mountain West standings. They are a game back of Boise State and UNLV.

Fresno State (18-7, 10-4) has lost four of its last five games after a 9-0 start to league play.

The Bulldogs won the first meeting, 66-65, in Laramie on January 17.
