Now is the time for the players to really determine which team is #1, and not the coaches and media.

The final 4A rankings are reflective of the top 5 seeds in the playoffs. Natrona is the unanimous #1, followed by Thunder Basin at #2, Sheridan at #3, Cheyenne East at #4 and Laramie at #5. The Plainsmen and ThunderBirds will play each for the 2nd time at Okie Blanchard Stadium this season, in what could be the most interesting first round match-up.

There has been a change on top of the final 3A rankings. By 1 vote, Star Valley moves ahead of Torrington for the top spot. The TrailBlazers are undefeated, but SV's lone loss was out of state, and they have arguably played a tougher schedule. Torrington will their chances to prove themselves against western opponents in the near future. Jackson and Cody hold steady at #3 and #4 respectively, but Cody is the one that has to go on the road in the first round, visiting #5 Douglas.

There's no change in the final 2A rankings. Newcomer Buffalo holds down the #1 spot. The Bison will host Kemmerer, who has had quite a turnaround, after several seasons of futility. #2 Mountain View is home vs. Thermopolis, and outside of 4A, this is the only rematch from the regular season. Glenrock isn't far behind the Buffalos at #3. The first round match-up to watch is #4 Wheatland visiting #5 Greybull.

Like 2A, the final 1A rankings are unchanged as well. #1 Big Horn and #2 Cokeville carry top seeds into the post-season. #3 Upton-Sundance will play at home, while #4 Pine Bluffs has to hit the road. #5 Wright is counting their blessings that the coins flipped their way, but they are the ones that have to travel across the state.

The 6-Man playoffs should be interesting. #1 Farson-Eden has never beaten Hulett. #2 H.E.M. could have their hands full, if the Burlington team that almost beat F-E shows up. #3 Meeteetse should get a challenge from Guernsey-Sunrise. That leaves #4 Little Snake River at #5 Kaycee. Can the Buckroos resume their drive to a 4-peat? Or will they be snake bit?
