As the post-season draws closer, movement in the coaches/media is settling down except for one class.

4A continues to be up in the air, and this weekend will either clear some things up, or cloud things even more. Four of the top 5 teams play each other twice. Campbell County is now up to #1, while former #1 Sheridan is down to #3. Both will have the home court advantage when they host #4 Cheyenne East and #5 Cheyenne Central. Meanwhile Evanston is up to #2, and will no longer enjoy their home court. The Red Devils start their second run through conference play this weekend, and have to play every team in the west on the road, starting with Green River and Rock Springs...2 teams looking to get back into the top 5.

The new 3A rankings have been calm for the past few weeks, which means an upset could happen soon. #1 Buffalo hosts #5 Rawlins on Saturday. #2 Riverton hosts unranked Pinedale and Star Valley, while #3 Cody is home vs. Lyman and Mountain View. Maybe #4 Newcastle needs to be careful on Friday at Torrington.

There's no change in the new 2A rankings. Wind River hangs on to the #1 ranking, despite losing last week at #1 1A Burlington, however #2 Pine Bluffs has closed the gap on the Cougars. Rocky Mountain is still #3, but #4 Wyoming Indian is 1 vote behind them. The Grizzlies visit #5 Lovell this weekend.

There was one small change in the new 1A rankings, but the top 5 is still dominated by the west. Encampment moved ahead of St. Stephens for #4 ranking, thus bumping the Eagles to #5. The top 3 stayed the same, as 4-time defending champ Burlington is still #1, followed by Farson-Eden and Saratoga. The Pronghorns have already locked up the #1 seed out of the southwest for the regional tournament, and have this week off. Saratoga could get a challenge on Saturday in their make-up game at home vs. unranked Kaycee.
