It's been a tough year for Wyoming football fans. Another loss at Air Force this weekend dropped the Cowboys to 0-6 on the season, ranking them among the worst teams in college football. However, if you've been wagering against the point spread, the Pokes are actually a decent bet.

According to Oddshark.com, Wyoming's 14 point loss to Air Force on Saturday easily covered the 24 point betting line, moving their record against the spread this year to a respectable 3-3.

Saturday also marked the 3rd time in the the past 4 games that the Pokes have covered the spread. Wyoming was a 26 point underdog at Appalachian State in week 5, but lost by only 18. Their 17 point loss at Washington State in week 3 was well under the 25.5 point line.

Looking forward to this weekend, the Cowboys will host Nevada in Laramie on Saturday. The early line favors the Wolf Pack by seven points. Which means, there's a decent chance our next game could be a close one. And who knows? Maybe the Pokes will find a way to cover the spread again and pick up their first win of the season.
