The 2016 Wyoming ‘AA’ American Legion Baseball State Tournament is in Jackson Tuesday through Saturday.

This is an eight team, double elimination bracket with the champion advancing to the ‘AA’ Northwest Regional Tournament in Cheyenne Aug. 3 through Aug. 7. With Post 6 already participating, should they win, the runner-up also receives an invite.

Wednesday, July 27

10 a.m. – Game 5: Rock Springs 8 Casper 6 (Casper eliminated)

1 p.m. – Game 6: Evanston 7 Laramie 2 (Laramie eliminated)

4 p.m. – Game 7: Sheridan 16 Gillette 4

7 p.m. - Game 8: Cheyenne 17 Jackson 2

Thursday, July 28

10 a.m. – Game 9: Gillette 3 Evanston 1 (Evanston eliminated)

1 p.m. – Game 10: Jackson 23 Rock Springs 5 (Rock Springs eliminated)

4 p.m. – Game 11: Gillette 10 Jackson 8 (Jackson eliminated)

7 p.m. – Game 12: Cheyenne 18 Sheridan 2 (Cheyenne advances to championship)

1 p.m. – Game 13: Sheridan 10, Gillette 9 (10 innings)

6 p.m. – Game 14 Championship: Cheyenne 14 Sheridan 4: Post 6 wins their 14th title in 16 years (Both advance to NW Regional in Cheyenne)
