Election officials are hoping this year's presidential election draws more youth to the polls.

Wyoming Secretary of State Ed Murray says a large percentage of young millennials are not casting their ballots.

"Our youth, those which we've identified between the ages of 18 and 24, are not voting," said Murray.

Murray says over 90 percent of Wyoming's youth chose not to exercise their right to vote in the 2014 general election.

"We believe this creates major issues," said Murray. "It's something we're taking head on."
