Which Wyoming Cowboy Football Games will be on TV?

Adam Porter, Townsquare Media

After many months of wondering which Cowboy football games fans would be able to see on TV, the University of Wyoming has announced an almost complete schedule. A couple of games are still up in the air, but for the most part, Wyoming fans have their answer about which games they can watch on TV and which games they will only be able to see in person.

Here’s the full breakdown of the 2012 University of Wyoming football team schedule with TV information:

Some things are certain, such as the fact that no one in Wyoming will be able to watch Wyoming play at Texas, because the Longhorn Network is carrying that game and it is unavailable in Wyoming. Also, the Toledo, Cal Poly and Nevada games pretty much stand no chance of being aired live on any TV anywhere.

If you want to see the Idaho game, you will have to pay to do so online through ESPN3. As for the Boise State, CSU, Air Force, Fresno State, and San Diego State games, you will want to check with your TV provider to make sure you get the appropriate channel. Most people in the region will get to see those games at home, or it should at least be easy to find at a nearby sports bar.

The New Mexico and UNLV games are the ones that are still up in the air. Basically, local carriers in New Mexico and Las Vegas will be airing the game, but it is yet to be seen if that feed will be picked up by any carriers in Wyoming. There is a chance it will happen since Cowboy Football games would get good ratings locally, but everyone will have to wait and see for now.
