Laramie has gained two new restaurants in the downtown area recently, both of which have piqued the interest of customers in the Laramie area. Both restaurants vary in their menu offerings. Since both businesses have been open for a few weeks, we were wondering which restaurant is the newest local favorite among Laramie area residents.

The first contender is Napoli's, Laramie's first Italian restaurant since the closure of Luciano's. Napoli's has taken over the storefront that used to belong to El Conquistador, and has some big shoes to fill.

The other contender for new local favorite is Speedgoat, which has taken the Grand Avenue location that used to house a yarn store. According the the restaurant's Facebook page, Speedgoat is "Laramie's locally owned burrito and street taco shop." Speedgoat may have only opened a few weeks ago, but the business seems to attract a crowd.

Which is your favorite?
