The weather has forced a few changes for student-athletes competing for Laramie High School this weekend.

Laramie High’s track teams pulled out of the Douglas Track Invitational Thursday afternoon and looked at alternative plans according to an email from LHS AD Bruce Schmidt.

Head coach Gil Bradfield informed KOWB that the varsity will attend the Poudre Invite in Fort Collins, CO Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The JV will head to Cheyenne for the Cheyenne Invite at 10 a.m. That information was also confirmed by Mr. Schmidt.

The Laramie Lady Plainsmen soccer team hosts Gillette today in a battle of No. 2 versus No. 3. That match has moved to the University of Wyoming’s Indoor Practice Facility (IPF). The varsity match will start at 7 p.m. with the JV to follow.

Saturday’s Lady Plainsmen-Sheridan match location and time will be announced by 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

The only team that isn’t being affected by weather is the No. 3 Laramie Plainsmen soccer team. Their matches at Gillette today and Sheridan tomorrow are still on as scheduled. The Plainsmen play the No. 2 Camels at 6 p.m. today and the Broncs at noon tomorrow.
