Cheyenne native and former Post 6 Baseball standout Brandon Nimmo made his first ever professional baseball home run July 1, 2016, and it was a doozy.

He had his first hit just earlier this week, and this time he really made it count. Nimmo knocked a ball straight toward the bullpen to give the team a three-run shot in the fourth inning taking the score to 7-to-1. The Mets ended up taking the night in a 10-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
