University of Wyoming senior libero Allison Waldvogel has been selected the Mountain West Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.

Waldvogel helped the Wyoming Cowgirls to the team title at the Rumble in the Rockies tournament last weekend. For her efforts, she was named the tournament MVP.

During the three matches, Waldvogel finished with 46 total digs, which is an average of 4.18 per set. She had a team-high 15 digs in the Cowgirls upset of then No. 14 Ohio State. She closed out the tournament with a season-high 22 in a four set victory of Butler. Waldvogel also had eight digs in the sweep of South Dakota.

This is the first Player of the Week honor for the senior.
