Waldo Canyon Fire Time Lapse Video

Last week, we witnessed the most destructive fire in Colorado state history. Approximately 350 homes were lost and we all watched as shocking video and images showed the fire enter into Colorado Springs.

We are in the digital age, which is why we were able to see the up-to-the minute video and images from the Waldo Canyon Fire on our television sets and online, and being in the digital age, it should come as no surprise that an area photographer took a great many pictures, and then combined them into a time lapse video. The music is a little ridiculous, but it is still an incredible video.

What might be the most fascinating aspect of this video to consider, is that the Arapaho Fire near Wheatland is about five times larger than the Waldo Canyon Fire was at it's peak size...
