Vote for Wyoming Football’s Opening-Day Uniforms!

Voting is open for University of Wyoming football fans to choose which uniforms the Pokes will wear for the season opener on Sept. 3 against Weber State. You have six home uniform combinations and three helmets to choose from on the Wyoming Athletics website. Voting will close the week before the game, when a winner will be announced.

The complete 2011 line of Nike uniforms was unveiled in July and features nine total jersey and pant combinations with three helmets. View all of the new uniforms by clicking here.

Our goal is to build a first class program, and that means playing first class, acting first class and looking first class. We hope Cowboy fans like the new options, and we want to invite our fans to vote for our opening day uniforms.

Cowboy football will open fall camp on Thursday in preparation for the 2011 college football season. The first practice will be helmets only with the first full-padded practice scheduled for Monday, Aug. 8. Wyoming will hold four scrimmages in War Memorial Stadium. The planned dates for those are Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 8:45 a.m.; Friday, Aug. 12 at 8:45 a.m.; Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 8:45 a.m.; and Saturday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m.

All scrimmages are open to the public so you can check out the progress of the team ahead of the Weber State game. You can vote for which uniform combination they will wear in that game by clicking here.
