UW Trustees Approve Presidential Search Committees

The University of Wyoming Board Trustees have approved of two committees comprised of UW Trustees, students, faculty, staff, members of the UW Foundation, and members of the public to help search for a new president. This decision was made by the trustees at their meeting on Wednesday, July 16, 2015. The first committee will review applications and select 10-15 candidates for further consideration. The second committee will then select 3-5 candidates for on-campus interviews and public forums.

The board is expected to meet again on Friday, July 27, 2015 to select a consulting firm to help advertise the position and select potential candidates. The board is expected to start advertising the position next month, with an application deadline of December 1, 2015, with the public forums expected to take place from late January to mid-February. The board hopes to have the position filled by the end of February.
