The University of Wyoming will host their annual Festival of Trees from Thursday, December 1st through Saturday, December 3rd. During this event, decorated trees and holiday items donated from more than 30 local organizations will be sold through a silent auction.

The event will kick off on Thursday, December 1st with the Lighting of the Trees reception starting at 6 p.m. During the reception, museum visitors can look at the trees, enjoy performances from student music groups, enjoy refreshments, and vote for the People's Choice Tree.

Also taking place during the weekend is the 24th annual Happy Holidays Laramie! celebration. Happy Holidays Laramie! will take place on Saturday, December 3rd from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In addition to musical performances, children will be able to make ornaments and Christmas decorations, and will also have an opportunity to visit with Santa.
