ORIGINAL ARTICLE: As of 9:45 a.m. Interstate 80 was closed to light, high profile vehicles between Walcott Junction and Laramie due to strong winds and extreme blow-over risk, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation [WYDOT].

While that stretch of the highway remained open to other vehicles, further closures are very possible today on Interstates 80 and 25 as a high wind warning was in effect for much of southeast Wyoming into early Thursday.

Interstate 25 remained open to all vehicles at last report.
