High school students graduating next year can plan ahead and get an early start on their college applications for free through the University of Wyoming.

Throughout the entire month of July, UW will waive the undergraduate application fee, normally $40, for high school seniors planning to attend college beginning the fall 2015 semester.

“Getting an early start to the college search process allows seniors and their parents to explore all college options and discover UW’s great academic and out-of-class opportunities,” says Admissions Director Shelley Dodd.

Students can go to www.uwyo.edu/apply and click on the “First-Year Students” box to apply or to get additional information.

Applications must be submitted by July 31 to qualify for the fee waiver. Prospective students can submit their official transcripts and ACT or SAT scores in early fall after they begin their final year of high school.
