University of Wyoming Veterans’ Day Ceremonies

The University of Wyoming will be holding two events to commemorate Veterans' Day on Wednesday, November 11.

The first ceremony, known as the Veterans' Day Roll Call, will start at 8 a.m. in Simpson Plaza on the UW campus.

The roll call will start with a presentation of the colors and the playing of the national anthem and will continue with volunteers reading of names of veterans who have died in the line of duty. The roll call is expected to conclude at 7 p.m.

The second event is a flag raising ceremony, set to start at 12 p.m. in Prexy's Pasture. The flag raising will be followed by a reception to honor veterans.
