Three upcoming soccer matches for the Laramie Plainsmen are being adjusted thanks to the weather forecast and field conditions.

Friday and Saturday’s 4A East Conference matches will be held at the University of Wyoming’s Indoor Practice Facility (IPF). In fact, Cheyenne South and Laramie will play host to Sheridan and Gillette in back-to-back games on both days.

No. 3 Laramie will play second-ranked Sheridan Friday at 3 p.m. in the IPF. That match will be followed by South facing top-ranked Gillette at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday’s action begins at 9 a.m. with South taking on No. 2 Sheridan. That will be followed by the third-ranked Plainsmen against the No. 1 Camels at 11 a.m.

In addition to this weekend’s matches, Laramie’s home date against Cheyenne South has been pushed back by two days. Originally slated for May 3, the match will be played May 5 due to wet field conditions at the UW North 40 soccer field.

The girl’s game between LHS and South is still set for Cheyenne next Tuesday, May 3.

This makes 10 of the 14 matches on the Plainsmen schedule have been altered for time, venue or city because of the weather and also due to opposition schedule adjustments.
