If you weren't at Frontier Park in Cheyenne on that final Sunday 2017, this may be your first time to see this. The rodeo lost a good friend this year with the passing of Harry Vold. He was "The Duke of the Chutes."

Harry Vold raised a long list of some of the most prize-winning animals in the PRCA. At age 90, he was still running one of the largest stock companies in North America. As he turned over the day to day operations to his daughter, the business will now certainly continue with Kristen Vold, who said, “He passed away in his sleep like every good cowboy should.”

One commenter on Cheyenne Frontier Days Facebook, "Seeing this live gave me chills and made some tears roll... can't explain how awesome of a tribute it was!"

Very well done, CFD ... but then ... did folks like Harry Vold and everyone at the "Daddy of 'Em All" ever do anything that wasn't well done?
