The Wyoming Cowboys reached the mid-point of spring practice with their seventh session Tuesday.

UW practiced for two-and-a-half hours in the Indoor Practice Facility.

Head coach Craig Bohl described what he saw when the squad scrimmaged for the first time this spring.

He noted the success of the defense; spotlighted some individual players; announced that Josh Allen has taken the lead in the quarterback battle and glimpsed ahead to the upcoming scrimmage Saturday in Cheyenne.

The Cowboys return to practice Thursday with their eighth session about 4 or 4:30 in the afternoon.
