Texas-based band The Buffalo Ruckus will be returning to Laramie for a performance at the Cowboy Saloon on Friday, August 18.

The Buffalo Ruckus formed in August 2013 when lead singer Jason Lovell and his wife moved to Texas. Lovell was taking some time to work on his music and found himself joining the band as it was forming. The Buffalo Ruckus performed their first show within the next month of their formation and recorded their first studio album less than 6 months later.

The band has opened for acts such as: The Turnpike Troubadors, Chris Stapleton, Merle Haggard, and Cheap Trick. Their latest album, "Peace and Cornbread", was released in August of 2016

About the upcoming show, lead singer Jason Lovell expressed his excitement in returning to Laramie, saying that "We played there earlier this year. The Cowboy Saloon is one of those bucket list venues. A lot of our friends have played up there, and we are glad to join that list of Texas artists."

There will be no cover charge for the show, which will start at 9 p.m.
