Chess enthusiasts from around the state will be attending the 2nd annual Wild West Chess Tournament tomorrow in Saratoga! Chess grandmaster Sergey Kudrin will also be in attendance. Kudrin became a chess grandmaster in 1984 and will play exhibition matches for anyone daring enough to go up against a grandmaster.

Sergey Kudrin lives in Connecticut. He has been recognized as one of the top chess players in the United States and played to a draw against a former chess world champion. He will be playing exhibition matches for any eager competitor willing to test their skills.

The Wild West Chess Tournamentwill be held at the Saratoga Resort and Spa. The event costs $20 for anyone wanting to participate. Last year the tournament drew approximately 60. Chess matches start Saturday and Sunday July 16th and 17th.
