Wyoming Air National Guard

A group of airmen with the 37th Helicopter Squadron at F.E. Warren Air Force Base were injured Wednesday morning when their Huey crashed.

The Airmen will be providing a range of support.

The 153rd Airlift Wing will be conducting readiness exercises from Thursday, August 5, to Monday, August 9. This will be taking place on the Wyoming Air National Guard base in Cheyenne. Because of this, the public may notice increased activity on the base and may hear simulated weapons firing for very short periods of time...

The AIr Guard says the flyovers will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Friday and culminate at 3:15 p.m. over the Cheyenne VA Center.

There will be aerobatic acts, static aircraft display, US Navy Leap Frogs, and a parachute jump featuring Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr and other local dignitaries.

Two members of the Wyoming Air National Guard 153rd Airlift Wing from Cheyenne, Drew Ballenger and Brandon Rodriquez, were working an event in the central part of the state.
