The Laramie Plainsmen reign supreme over 4A boys’ soccer in Wyoming again. Laramie topped Riverton 1-0 for their third state championship in the last four years.
Behind two goals from sophomore Courtney Hamilton, the Laramie Lady Plainsmen won their first state championship in six years with a 4-2 victory over Gillette.
In a match filled with plenty of intensity and drama, the Laramie Plainsmen beat the Sheridan Broncs in overtime, 1-0, Friday in the semifinals of the 4A State Soccer Tournament.
Thanks to a 3-1 victory in Friday’s semifinals, the Laramie Lady Plainsmen will play for the 4A State Soccer Championship for the first time in 5 years.
It was a highly successful start to the 4A State Soccer Tournament for the Laramie Lady Plainsmen Thursday. They defeated Kelly Walsh 5-0 in their first match.
