Shyatt Inks One Year Extension With The University Of Wyoming
University of Wyoming Athletics Director Tom Burman announced on Thursday that the contract of head men’s basketball coach Larry Shyatt has been extended through the 2016-17 season.
Shyatt signed his original contract with the Cowboys on March 31, 2011. His initial contract was for five years with a base salary of $190,000 per year and included incentives for up to $645,000 per year.

On the first day of the spring signing period, Wyoming coach Larry Shyatt announced that Nathan Sobey has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Cowboy basketball.
