On Friday afternoon in Green River, Laramie's 11/12 year-old Little League All-Stars defeated Gillette 8-3 to clinch a berth in the Wyoming State Little League Championship game. Amazingly enough, Laramie's 9/10 year-old squad also defeated a team from Gillette on Friday, 18-6, and will also play Saturday for a shot at the state title.

On a hot Thursday afternoon in Green River, the six-time defending state champion Laramie Little League All-Star team sweltered to a scorching Cody team, 13-3 in five innings.

On Wednesday night in Green River, the Laramie Little League All-Stars opened up the State Little League Tournament with a four inning win over Riverton.
Seeking their seventh consecutive state title, Laramie came into the state tournament having won three straight games by a total of 34 runs, and Laramie continued that dominance by defeating Riverton 13-3. A no-hitter from Ryan Spiker led the Laramie Rangers to 15-0 rout of the Rawlins Generals at the Wyoming American Legion Baseball South District Tournament in Jackson. With the win the Rangers will face the Cheyenne Hawks on Thursday at 4 PM as they attempt to advance to the State Tournament by finishing in the top two this weekend.
