Laramie’s 150th anniversary committee is busy planning for the year-long celebration of Laramie set to kick off in May and they are looking for some assistance from the community to help fund the festivities.

The Cooper Center for the Creative Arts is inviting the Laramie community to attend its Art in the Dark: A Fluorescent Event fundraiser this weekend.

The state of Wyoming does not pay restitution to people incarcerated for wrongful convictions.

The event, "We Care About Our Mayor! Fundraiser for Summerville Family" is organized by the Montessori Parent Teacher Organization and will be held Thursday, Oct 19 at the school at 608 S. 4th Street.
