SAFE Project Sponsoring Two Events On October 18th and 26th

Albany County SAFE Project was founded in Laramie in 1980. The mission of SAFE is “to advocate for victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault, rape, and incest, and to create change through education and awareness to eliminate violence”. We also serve victims of child abuse, elder abuse, and stalking. Starting at 7pm this evening at the University of Wyoming's Union Ballroom, author and expert on domestic abuse Lundy Bancroft will give a speech titled "The Causes and Solutions for Domestic Abuse."

University of Wyoming Art Museum Hosts Talk Tonight About New Exhibit

The University of Wyoming Art Museum  has a new art exhibition titled "Talismans of Protection From Chosen Korea: Antique Locks, Latches and Key Charms. University of Wyoming Department of History Chair and Associate Professor Michael Brose will give a talk in conjunction with the new exhibit starting at 7pm this evening. The event is free and open to the public.

Wyoming Equality Hosting “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” Event September 20th

Wyoming Equality, a gay and lesbian advocacy group, will be hosting an event welcoming an end to the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy. The event will take place on  Tuesday September 20th in Cheyenne at the Plains Hotel from 6pm-10pm.
