Laramie police are currently mitigating a bomb threat in the downtown area.

Larimer County officials say a plane crash last night involving a tanker engaged in the fight against the Kruger Rock Fire has claimed the life of a pilot.

The agency says the '"best estimate'' for the size of the fire on Tuesday morning was around 75 acres.
