The University of Wyoming Men's basketball season came to an end in the first round of the 2011 Conoco Mountain West Conference Tournament.  The Cowboys were defeated by TCU, 70-61.

The Mountain West Conference (MWC) announced its 2010-11 men's and women's basketball awards Monday.  Six University of Wyoming athletes earned recognition with the highest honor going to Cowgirl senior Aubrey Vandiver who was chosen as the MWC Women's Player of the Year.

The 16 points and 6 rebounds from Desmar Jackson were not enough to give Djibril Thiam a victory on his senior night as the University of Wyoming Cowboys lost, 85-58, to the no. 9 San Diego State University Aztecs Tuesday night in the Arena Auditorium.

The second edition of this season's Border War in men's basketball was a battle to the end Saturday night.  The Colorado State Rams earned a sweep of the regular series with a 59-56 victory over the Wyoming Cowboys at the Arena-Auditorium.

With the nation's leading scorer in town, the Wyoming Cowboys put up quite a fight Wednesday night at the Arena-Auditorium.  They fell just short in their upset bid, as the 8th-ranked BYU Cougars escaped Laramie with a 69-62 victory.

A hot shooting second half allowed the UNLV Runnin' Rebels to come from eight points down at half and push past the Wyoming Cowboys 74-65 Tuesday night in MWC action at the Arena-Auditorium.

A slow offensive night for the Cowboys combined with poor defense of the 3-point shot led to a Wyoming loss to Utah, 68-51, on Saturday in the Arena-Auditorium.

Francisco 'Paco' Cruz put up a third chance shot as time expired to give the Cowboys a 67-66 win over New Mexico on Saturday at the Arena-Auditorium.
